Saniya is accepting new clients for Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Transference Focussed Psychodynamic (TFP) therapy.

Sessions run for 50-minutes (couples or family sessions are longer) and are available in person or online via Telehealth. EMDR sessions might run for longer.

Parking: 5-8 mins walking distance from free 2 hour parking at Burwood Westfield/Station, 2P paid parking in front of building and at George St. Carpark around the corner.
Fees: Sessions cost $265, sessions after-hours (before 9am or after 4pm) and all Saturday sessions cost an additional $20. Extended sessions for EMDR are available. Please note that these are well below the APS recommended fees of $310/session in 2025. *Time-limited concession rates are available for Indigenous Australians, international students, refugees and those affected by war crimes. Please discuss your circumstances at the time of making an appointment.*
Medicare Rebates: You do not need a mental health care plan to see a psychologist. However, if you have a Mental Health Care Plan, you will be eligible for a rebate of $141.85 per session, for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. A referral from your GP or Psychiatrist will be needed to claim the Medicare rebate. You may also be eligible to claim appointments through your Private Health Insurance, depending upon your level of cover. Please bring your mental health care plan to your appointment or email it to admin@saniyasinghpsychology.com.au. The MHCP must be written before the appointment to claim a medicare rebate.
*Please note that Saniya only see clients through Medicare, private health insurance, NDIS or privately. She does not currently see clients through TAC, Work-cover, Victims of Crime or any other third party. Additionally, Saniya is unable to provide court reports or medico-legal reports.*
Cancellation Policy: Saniya requires at least 48 business hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling of appointments. Changes to appointments within 48 hours will attract a $100 cancellation fee that cannot be covered by Medicare or Private Health Insurance. Changes within 24 hours will attract the full session fee.
